But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bear fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham.”约翰看见许多法利赛人和撒都该人来受洗，就对他们说：“毒蛇的种类！谁指示你们逃避将来的忿怒呢？你们要结出与悔改相称的果子来。不要自己心里说：‘有亚伯拉罕为我们的祖宗。’我告诉你们，神能从这些石头中给亚伯拉罕兴起子孙来。”

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.你们饶恕人的过犯，你们的天父也必饶恕你们；你们不饶恕人的过犯，你们的天父也必不饶恕你们的过犯。

No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.一个人不能事奉两个主；不是恶这个爱那个，就是重这个轻那个。你们不能又事奉神，又事奉玛门。

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.你们要进窄门。因为引到灭亡，那门是宽的，路是大的，进去的人也多；引到永生，那门是窄的，路是小的，找着的人也少。

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”凡称呼我‘主啊，主啊’的人，不能都进天国；惟独遵行我天父旨意的人才能进去。当那日必有许多人对我说：‘主啊，主啊，我们不是奉你的名传道、奉你的名赶鬼、奉你的名行许多异能吗？’我就明明地告诉他们说：‘我从来不认识你们，你们这些作恶的人，离开我去吧！’

But whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.凡在人面前不认我的，我在我天上的父面前也必不认他。

And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.不背着他的十字架跟从我的，也不配作我的门徒。

As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away.撒在石头地上的，就是人听了道，立刻欢喜领受；只因心里没有根，不过是暂时的，及至为道遭了患难，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。

But the one who endures to the end will be saved.惟有忍耐到底的，必然得救。

But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.凡亵渎圣灵的，却永不得赦免，乃要担当永远的罪。

And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.你们站着祷告的时候，若想起有人得罪你们，就当饶恕他，好叫你们在天上的父也饶恕你们的过犯。

The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.那仆人的主人要在他想不到的日子、不知道的时辰来到，重重地处治他，定他和不忠心的人同罪。

No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.我告诉你们，不是的！你们若不悔改，都要如此灭亡。

Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.你们要努力进窄门。我告诉你们，将来有许多人想要进去，却是不能。

Salt is good, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is of no use either for the soil or for the manure pile. It is thrown away. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.盐本是好的；盐若失了味，可用什么叫它再咸呢？或用在田里，或堆在粪里，都不合适，只好丢在外面。有耳可听的，就应当听！

Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it.凡想要保全生命的，必丧掉生命；凡丧掉生命的，必救活生命。

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.信子的人有永生；不顺从子的人不得见永生，神的震怒常在他身上。

If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.人若不常在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯干，人拾起来，扔在火里烧了。

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.弟兄们，你们要谨慎，免得你们中间或有人存着不信的恶心，把永生神离弃了。总要趁着还有今日，天天彼此相劝，免得你们中间有人被罪迷惑，心里就刚硬了。我们若将起初确实的信心坚持到底，就在基督里有分了。

And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.他既得以完全，就为凡顺从他的人成了永远得救的根源。

For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.论到那些已经蒙了光照、尝过天恩的滋味、又于圣灵有分，并尝过神善道的滋味、觉悟来世权能的人，若是离弃道理，就不能叫他们从新懊悔了；因为他们把神的儿子重钉十字架，明明地羞辱他。

For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, and its end is to be burned.就如一块田地，吃过屡次下的雨水，生长菜蔬，合乎耕种这田地的人用，就从神得福；若长荆棘和蒺藜，必被废弃，近于咒诅，结局就是焚烧。

For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.因为我们得知真道以后，若故意犯罪，赎罪的祭就再没有了，惟有战惧等候审判和那烧灭众敌人的烈火。

But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.我们却不是退后入沉沦的那等人，乃是有信心以致灵魂得救的人。

Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.你们要追求与众人和睦，并要追求圣洁；非圣洁没有人能见主。

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.只是你们要行道，不要单单听道，自己欺哄自己。

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.你信神只有一位，你信的不错；鬼魔也信，却是战惊。

You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.你们这些淫乱的人哪，岂不知与世俗为友就是与神为敌吗？所以凡想要与世俗为友的，就是与神为敌了。

And “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”若是义人仅仅得救，那不虔敬和犯罪的人将有何地可站呢？

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins. Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.正因这缘故，你们要分外地殷勤；有了信心，又要加上德行；有了德行，又要加上知识；有了知识，又要加上节制；有了节制，又要加上忍耐；有了忍耐，又要加上虔敬；有了虔敬，又要加上爱弟兄的心；有了爱弟兄的心，又要加上爱众人的心。你们若充充足足地有这几样，就必使你们在认识我们的主耶稣基督上不至于闲懒不结果子。人若没有这几样，就是眼瞎，只看见近处的，忘了他旧日的罪已经得了洁净。所以弟兄们，应当更加殷勤，使你们所蒙的恩召和拣选坚定不移；你们若行这几样，就永不失脚。这样，必叫你们丰丰富富地得以进入我们主救主耶稣基督永远的国。

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”倘若他们因认识主救主耶稣基督，得以脱离世上的污秽，后来又在其中被缠住、制伏，他们末后的景况就比先前更不好了。他们若晓得义路，竟背弃了传给他们的圣命，倒不如不晓得为妙。俗语说得真不错：狗所吐的，它转过来又吃；猪洗净了，又回到泥里去滚。

By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.我们若遵守他的诫命，就晓得是认识他。

The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;人若说‘我认识他’，却不遵守他的诫命，便是说谎话的，真理也不在他心里了。

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.不要爱世界和世界上的事。人若爱世界，爱父的心就不在他里面了。

And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.这世界和其上的情欲都要过去，惟独遵行神旨意的，是永远常存。

Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.犯罪的是属魔鬼，因为魔鬼从起初就犯罪。神的儿子显现出来，为要除灭魔鬼的作为。

By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.从此就显出谁是神的儿女，谁是魔鬼的儿女：凡不行义的就不属神，不爱弟兄的也是如此。

And the LORD said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.”耶和华对摩西说：谁得罪我，我就从我的册上涂抹谁的名。

Add iniquity unto their iniquity; And let them not come into thy righteousness, Let them be blotted out of the book of life, And not be written with the righteous.愿你在他们的罪孽上加罪，不容他们在你面前称义。愿他们从生命册上被涂抹，不得记录在义人之中。

But when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live? None of the righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered; for the treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die.义人若转离义行而作罪孽，行可憎的事，岂能存活吗？他所行的一切义都不被记念；他因所行的罪过和所犯的罪，必要死。

“But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done he shall live. Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?”恶人若回头离开所犯的一切罪，谨守我一切的律例，行正直与合理的事，他必要存活，不至死亡。他所犯的一切罪过都不被记念，因所行的义，他必存活。主耶和华说：恶人死亡，岂是我喜悦的吗？不是喜悦他回头离开所行的道存活吗？

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.你要专心仰赖耶和华，不可倚靠自己的聪明；在你一切所行的事上都要认定他，他必指引你的路。
